The Perfect Place To Snoop in Paris

Notre-Dame and the square surrounding it may be inaccessible after the fire that happened in April but that doesn’t mean that you should skip out on visiting the quartier of Saint Michel next time you find yourself in Paris.

MY INSTAGRAM BEAUTY BUSINESS +LIQUID LIPSTICK

A New Beginning for LaDameWhoFellToEarth

op.png

It’s been about a month now since I launched my beauty business over on Instagram and I’ve honestly been so busy with it that I haven’t even had the chance to make a blogpost about it!

As a fashion and beauty blogger I moved to Paris two years ago to follow my dream of turning my blog into an actual business that would be profitable for me. Although I haven’t fully made it yet as a full time blogger, getting partnered with a multi-million dollar beauty company means that I’m one step closer to converting LaDameWhoFellToEarth into a fully fledged business.

When I got partnered with NuSkin I accomplished a huge goal of mine because it meant that I could finally break into the beauty industry with a huge multi-national company specialising in makeup, beauty and skincare having my back.

So what does this actually mean for our blog now? Here is where it actually gets pretty exciting!

Now that I have my own beauty range of liquid lipsticks you can now buy them from me over on my Instagram by dropping me a DM. These products have won so many awards in the past for their premium quality and NuSkin have also been featured in Forbes as being one of the Top 5 most trustworthy businesses in the world so you know you’re getting bag for your buck.

The Perfect Weekend in Amsterdam

My Travel Guide For a Short Stay in The Netherlands

NEDERLAND.png

What is it exactly about the Netherlands that is so alluring? I can’t exactly explain why but something about this magical place and especially Amsterdam just keeps me coming back. If blazing it in the coffee shops isn’t exactly your thing, there’s so much more to this place than the legal cannabis and the red light district. Think riding through the countryside on a vintage bike and eating stroopwafels by Amsterdam’s most picturesque canals and you’ve got the perfect image of what my most recent stay was like in Holland. Every corner of every street looks like the image of a biscuit box or a vintage postcard.

This week I abandoned my baguettes, omelette au fromage and berets (ok,ok, I may have kept the beret) but I did replace my Parisian lifestyle for a Dutch adventure.

Between Amsterdam and the countryside where we rented an AirBnb there was so much to discover and so many amazing things to see. For today’s post I’m sharing my photo diary and giving you the complete guide to the perfect stay in the Netherlands.

Outfit of the Day at The Moulin Rouge

We All Know The Film, Now It’s Time For An Outfit of the Day!

What is it that makes Montmartre so charming?

Though it may have a rather sordid past, the architectural beauty of Paris’ former red light district is undeniable.

Pigalle is an area in Paris where pretty much anything goes. Located right in the middle of the hill at Montmartre, this quartier was once the playground of artists and musicians alike all throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries. Some of the biggest names in western art and culture such as Picasso, Renoir, Ernest Hemingway and Van Gogh frequented the many local cafés there including La Nouvelle Athènes and the world renowned Le Chat Noir. It was the district where Rimbaud frequented with his lover Paul Verlaine, where Edith Paif sang and of course where brothels and cabarets were commonplace.

Out of all the culture that exists across the area of Pigalle, The Moulin Rouge is the most show-stopping monument of all. With it being the birthplace of cabaret and the epicentre of burlesque, I just had to stop by last time I was strolling around Montmartre.

A Day At The Opera Photo Diary

The Phantom of The Opera

opera1

Hello my lovelies! Welcome back to another Parisian adventure here on LaDameWhoFellToEarth. Today’s post is a short little photo diary from last weekend when I visited the Opera House or, The Palais Garnier as we call it here in Paris. I’ve  seen a lot of awe-inspiring interiors in this city but the one found in the Opera definitely trumps them all in terms of being the most extravagant and jaw-dropping.

I really hope these photos will inspire you to pay the Opera House a visit if you ever happen to be in Paris but honestly my photos don’t even do this beautiful building justice for how incredible this place really is on the inside.
